DESCRIPTION:The San Joaquin Valley has some of the worst air quality in the United States. Making the switch to an electric vehicle reduces transportation emissions\, the largest source of air pollution in the San Joaquin Valley. It will also reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to climate change. In addition to the environmental benefits\, electric vehicles are less expensive to operate than gas-powered vehicles and offer the convenience of “filling up” at home and not requiring oil changes or other typical engine services.
