WHO IS THE CVEC?
The Clean Vehicle Empowerment Collaborative (CVEC), is a partnership of Community-Based Organizations across the San Joaquin Valley that are working together to bring awareness and education about electric vehicles to our communities.
With the state of California banning the sales of new gas-powered vehicles beginning in 2035, the CVEC is working to ensure that San Joaquin Valley residents don’t get left behind in this transition. At each event, learn about our EV Equity Program, and how we’re helping folks apply for state and local incentives to help make EV ownership a reality. You will also have an opportunity to connect with other community resources that are providing additional electric options for you and your home.
WHAT IS A RIDE AND DRIVE?
A ride and drive is an opportunity for community members to experience being behind the wheel of an electric vehicle, first-hand. The CVEC, in partnership with local dealerships, is creating spaces in communities across the San Joaquin Valley where residents can feel comfortable to test drive an EV without any of the pressures typically associated with test driving a vehicle at the dealership.

The Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC) invites you to join us for our Fresno EV Ride & Drive Event!
This year we are partnering with Earth Day Fresno to bring you the best experience yet! Join us for this family-friendly event that will give Central California residents an opportunity to experience electric vehicles first-hand and provide a day full of entertainment!
